Make WEXP opening older baseline

Hello!

We use WEXP on DOORS 9.3.0.6 for creating documents. This is done by exporting from a main module which contains the text parts and references to data modules that open during export and dump their content into Word.

What I'd like to do now is to make it possible that the main module references to an previous baseline of a data module instead of the current view, so that during export the baseline data is used and not the current.

Is that possible within WEXP? And if so, how?

First of all you can of course export a baseline from WEXP. Just open it, press Export and go for it. If you for some reason want to mix information from your current module and one or more baselines, you need to create a view using layout dxl or attribute DXL which shows the right information to you and export that view. Maybe that helps, regards, Mathias

Thanks for the reply, but I want to do something different. What I want to do is doing a WEXP export from the current view of module A. In the export module A should open another module (B) and dump the data into the export. Which works fine.

However, due to some external circumstances I can no longer use the current view of module B but during the export need WEXP to open a specific baseline of B. Module A (from where the export is started) is still current view, though.

Now my question is if this is possible, or can WEXP only call up current views of other modules. And if it is possible to export a baseline then my next question would be how.

Are you saying you want to keep exporting the View of A but for Module B (where that view does not exist?). This seems to be as impossible. B must have its own export view.

Can WEXP maybe handle URLs (which can contain baselines and views)?

But in details I cannot answer this, since I havent used WEXP for a long time and got no access to it currently.

Maybe some other WEXP user can chime in?

Regards, Mathias

There is an export view in module B, which is called up by the related WEXP setting in module A.

However, module B is always opened in current version while I would like WEXP to open a specific baseline instead.
